Context
On March 24, 2016, the industrial site, which specialises in R&D for automotive components, was unveiled in the presence of Etienne Schneider, who was then Minister of Economy.
Working together, researching together, innovating together and thus being more competitive together - this will be the main advantage that companies will enjoy on the new campus, according to Etienne Schneider (rtl.lu, article "Lancement d'un grand projet dédié à l'innovation à Bissen" of March 24, 2016).
BELVEDERE Architecture has advised the Ministry of Economy - also in the meetings with the local administration of Bissen - on the urban structuring of the campus (key urban values of the site). Based on the results of our study, we developed in-house 3D visualisations that were used, among other things, for the realisation of the construction sign.
Present in Luxembourg since 1989, IEE S.A. moved all activities from Contern to the Innovation Pole in Bissen in 2019. For the new headquarters and R&D center of the company, BELVEDERE Architecture was hired as an architect, interior designer and project manager.
