The spaces to be redesigned are located on the ground floor and 1st floor of an existing building in the south of Luxembourg. A projected change of tenants made it necessary to replan and restructure the space. Our interior design concept envisaged the following focal points:
The front area with reception and waiting area as well as meeting room remains basically unchanged.
The departments with a daily presence are grouped together and oriented towards the window fronts.
The employees who are often on the go are placed in the middle of the area in rooms with glazed walls. This allows light to flow freely through the space, giving it a light and open feel for the staff. Lines symbolising the client's core business are placed on the glass walls. In the middle, a break-through is planned to create a light shaft, which will create an opening from the ground floor to the 1st floor and up to the roof, thus creating a visual connection between the levels. Plants can be accommodated in the light shaft, creating a pleasant atmosphere.
