Change in architectural visualisation.
The presentation of design drafts has been undergoing a process of change for quite a long time. While sketch pads, drawing boards, and physical models are gradually receding into the background, computer-aided design is shaping the future.
One could summarize that the new generation of architects are virtuosos of CAD, while those still mastering the craft of hand sketching seem to be dwindling. At BELVEDERE, we combine the time-honoured with innovation, harnessing the strengths of both methods : While CAD graphics excel in terms of technical precision and efficiency, and moreover can be integrated into Building Information Modeling (BIM), handcrafted drawings offer advantages in terms of artistic freedom and the ability to communicate concepts quickly and intuitively. Both approaches have their merits in the architectural design process.
