GRAND OPENING of "Struwweltëntert" in Tuntange !
On November 30, 2024, the new RESTAURANT-CAFÉ-ÉPICERIE STRUWWELTËNTERT opened its doors at the A BRISSEN site in Tuntange. The grand opening was a huge success, attracting locals of all ages who celebrated this exciting new community hub alongside the Mayor, the Municipal Council of Helperknapp, and the operators.
For the first time, visitors explored Beim Struwwel restaurant, Tëntert café, and Struwwel épicerie, all brought together under the name Struwweltëntert. This dynamic concept combines dining, socializing, and shopping, with the goal of becoming a central meeting point for the local community.
In their speeches, Mayor PAUL MANGEN and operators CHRISTOPHE KREMER and JACQUES "Jaakes" HOFFMANN highlighted the importance of this project for the municipality as well as for themselves: “We’re here to stay!” Together with JORAN DIDELOT, the team behind Struwweltëntert has laid the foundation for long-term success with an innovative vision. Their approach centers on sustainability, organic products, collaboration with local producers, and active involvement of the community—guest engagement and feedback are explicitly welcomed.
The transformation of the 400 m² space—from an empty shell into a vibrant venue—was designed and implemented by BELVEDERE ARCHITECTURE. This achievement was made possible thanks to the investment of the municipality and the operators, the collaborative efforts of all involved, and the project management of MARC MANNES from the municipal Technical Services Department. The result is a truly special place that will enhance village life and strengthen community connections.
Congratulations on the amazing opening, and best wishes for continued success!
