IEE Headquarters: A Showcase of Design and Functionality!
In 2019, we completed IEE Sensing's new headquarters and R&D campus in Bissen, Luxembourg. Five years on, the space continues to impress with its functionality and high user satisfaction.
On November 8th 2024, we had the pleasure of welcoming colleagues from Alleva Enzio Architectes & Associés and CDCL to the IEE Innovation Center in Bissen, Luxembourg. This visit offered a chance to reflect on the enduring success of the project and discuss its spatial concepts, which continue to set a benchmark for functionality and user satisfaction.
Completed in 2019, the IEE Innovation Center was designed to support IEE S.A.’s growth within the "Automotive Campus" in Bissen. The facility seamlessly integrates office areas, research laboratories, and a testing hall, with a striking atrium connecting these spaces. The design is tailored to meet IEE’s specific requirements, including workflows and confidentiality standards essential in the automotive industry.
Our collaboration encompassed architecture, interior design, and project management, resulting in a space that is both highly functional and aesthetically engaging. The project has been recognized for its innovation, receiving 1st prize in the "Best Lobby" and "Best Technology Advanced Space" categories in the 2019 Office Space of the Year competition of CBRE.
This project remains a testament to thoughtful planning, teamwork, and the ability to balance form and function. It continues to inspire and deliver exceptional results, underscoring the value of design that truly supports its users.
