The Landewyck Building in the NEOMAG #70.

Following numerous publications, the Landewyck Building — awarded the 2024 Bauhärepräis by the OAI — is now also featured in a report in the April 2025 issue of NEOMAG.

As part of this issue, journalist Mélanie Trélat conducted an in-depth interview with Patrick Meyer, CEO of BELVEDERE Architecture, and architect Lorenz Reiter.

The article highlights the complex renovation of the Landewyck Building, originally constructed in 1937 in the Bauhaus style and now classified as a national monument. The focus lies on the delicate balance between heritage-sensitive restoration and contemporary transformation, which has turned the building into a functional, modern workspace.

NEOMAG particularly emphasizes the respectful treatment of the historic fabric, the technical sophistication of the architectural interventions, and the clear architectural language through which BELVEDERE Architecture has brought new life to the building. The transformation was carried out in close collaboration with the client Landimmo Real Estate and a multidisciplinary project team composed of experts from various fields.
