The Niederkorn Mall will become reality.
On 1 December 2023, the municipal council of Differdange voted unanimously in favour of the "Niederkorn Mall" designed by BELVEDERE Architecture. This clears the way for the construction of the new multi-service centre in the south-west of the country.
The mall will have a volume of around 5,500 m² and a multi-service structure. It will house a supermarket, a DIY shop, restaurants, a crèche, shops, offices and underground parking spaces.
A fruit and vegetable market may be set up, and the already existing hotel no. 151 will be integrated into the development. On the roof of the shopping centre, there are plans to create a park with play areas and a space for concerts.
The location of the shopping centre in the immediate vicinity of the motorway junctions is optimal. It will be located near the roundabout at the entrance to the Hannebosch industrial estate, and is scheduled for completion in 2027.
