In 2021, BELVEDERE Architecture conducted a feasibility study on behalf of the client to analyze the development potential of the entire plot. The goal was to determine the best possible use of the property.
Based on this study, planning commenced for the construction of a new office building on the site as well as the refurbishment of the existing hall. One aspect of the renovation was the integration of a modern smoke extraction system to comply with the latest safety standards.
BELVEDERE Architecture was able to obtain the building permit for the hall renovation in October 2023. The modernization measures included the renewal of the roof covering and facade cladding, as well as adaptation to current building regulations.
The supervision of the works was carried out by an external company, and the improvement work on the hall was completed in the summer of 2024.
The photos show the modernized hall (brown cladding) as well as the old hall (green cladding).
